CEIM Prize 2016

The architecture of Joncs Metropol, which is situated in the Baix Llobregat Agricultural Park, makes use of Flexbrick® ceramic tissue. The project’s goal is to preserve agriculture in the Barcelona metropolitan area with an emphasis on ecological, economic, and social sustainability. It offers a critical response to the unchecked speculative growth that has threatened the region’s identity.
